Our Pop (Mr. B) started the business back in 1976 after the chain store “Red Owl” which he managed left Wisconsin. He took a lien against the house and dove in head 1st with our 1st location off of 59th and Appleton Ave. Pops always said that he could not have done it without his wife and six kids. Not that we were all a big help but the labor was real cheap. Pops is fully retired but still comes in every day and works 4 to 6 hours chasing around the help or watching the security cameras (sometimes with both eyes shut in the big chair). We closed the original location almost 20 years ago to open our current location. We can’t say enough about our loyal customer base. Some go back to the original location. We are truly blessed.
