Ash and Jason Maharaj opened barking good in Santa Barbara, ca in 2014. They then opened barking good in port hueneme, ca in 2017. They are a full service dog grooming salon.

Ash Maharaj started dog grooming at a corporate setting in 2011. There she became grooming salon manager and later on a mentor that trained new grooming staff. She then opened a dog grooming business with her husband who is also a dog groomer in 2014.
