Avalon Dentistry Indianapolis: We are a second generation family practice with a long-standing tradition of providing exceptional dental care, in an atmosphere where our patients are treated like family. The skillful dentistry and family culture of our dental practice is a tribute to Dr. Chris Borkowski-Hicks who after 20 years of working with her father Dr. John Borkowski, took the reins and carried on in his footsteps. After graduating from dental school, Dr. John mentored graduate dental students in the art of Prosthodontics (crown and bridge) for 25 years. Dr. John’s wife Lorraine, joined him early on, to oversee the operational aspects of the growing dental practice. The dentists at Avalon, care for their patients in a skillfully conservative yet effective manner. The entire staff strives to make our patients feel welcome and comfortable, which is an important reason we have had the opportunity to serve generations of returning patients. In fact, we have a growing group of families who are bringing their fourth generation to us for their family and cosmetic dental care!

Family owned business for two generations. Started by Dr. John Borkowski DDS. After working with her father for 23 years, Dr. Christine Borkowski-Hicks took over the practice when her father retired.
