We are the #1 store in Northern California. We are also a certified Green business, 100% solar powered, and we support many charities. We have a beautiful showroom, including a dream home theater which has both the Meridian 810 Reference projector (only two of these on display in the country) and the SIM2 HT6000 projector. Established in 1997.
Audio High was started as a small audio / home theater business expressly for the purpose of supporting cystic fibrosis research. Cystic Fibrosis is the #1 fatal genetic disease in the United States. As our business has grown, we’ve added a number of other charities that we suppport with profits from our sales. The owners of the business do not take a salary. When we purchased our building a couple of years ago, we were already a certified Green business, but we went the extra step of making the new store 100% solar powered. We have built a strong reputation among professional musicians and other celebrities, and have been very fortunate to work with some extremely talented people. Some of these people are listed on our web site. We have put on a number of concerts for charity and have produced a number of CDs as well as the very first MQA content in the world, partnering with Meridian, who invented MQA.

Michael S.
Business Owner
Michael studied music at UC Santa Cruz and later graduated as valedictorian from St. Mary’s College of Moraga with a degree in management. He has worked as a composer, arranger, musician, musical director, and teacher.

For seven years, Michael was a development manager at Apple Computer. During his tenure at Apple, he wrote and published a programming book; wrote the telecommunications code that sent the first e-mail from space and supported the astronauts during that mission; and re-architected America Online to support other languages, cultures, and writing systems. Michael also designed the user interfaces for several Apple products.

For his work with NASA on several projects, Michael was made an honorary Air Force Captain.

Michael has done work as an EMT and DMT. His past volunteer work includes the SPCA and molecular biology research at Stanford University. He is a Divemaster who specializes in both dive-related medicine and underwater photography.
