We specialize in handmade one of kind area rugs made with love from India, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran & Nepal. All of our rugs are made with pure wool and/or silk. We carry unusual and exquisite quality fine rugs in contemporary, transitional, traditional and tribal patterns.

After many years of successful business in Istanbul, Turkey, we started in 1984 in the San Francisco Bay area and recently opened our doors in Palo Alto.

Servet Abi, owner of Artsy Rugs in Palo Alto, has been in the rug business for 19 years. As a 3rd generation rug purveyor, he has worked in several states and started several companies. With his fine eye for detail, he finds the very best and most beautiful of handmade rugs in his worldwide travels. He also owns one of the oldest and largest rug companies in Istanbul, Turkey, known as Urartu Carpets & Kilims.
