Our Retail Store in South London supplies everything for the aquarist. We have two floors filled with Tropical fish, cultured farmed corals, plants, tanks and equipment to choose from. Come and browse over 750 tanks of marine and freshwater livestock. Our experienced staff are here to help and advise you on all aspects of the aquarium hobby. Will we be happy to order any unusual items for you. The Aquatic Design Centre has been designing, building, manufacturing and installing custom bespoke fish tanks and aquariums for over 25 years. We are world leaders in aquarium manufacture, installation, and maintenance. Whatever your requirements we’ll be able to realise your vision within your budget. Our installations and maintenance services range from simple goldfish biorbs and desk top aquariums to enormous living coral marine reef systems. We have been designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining aquariums across Britain and growing ever stronger as the world leader in aquarium and pond technology. Our workshop facility has expanded over the years. We now occupy an ex-farm two acre premises in Surrey, where our facilities enable us to manufacture on large scale glass aquariums, with storage facilities, and livestock holdings. You will see our work in landmark buildings, stores, restaurants, offices, museums, exhibitions, TV and movie sets, stylish homes and gardens. You will also see our International designs in North America and the Middle East. Our Central London store has everything you need for any aquarium, be it Freshwater community, Planted Aquascape, or Marine. The Aquatic Design Centre was established in 1985 by Company founder and Managing Director Nick Lloyd a marine biologist who is passionate in our quest to ensure environment impacts of this hobby are kept low. We now farm our own corals and use farmed raised fish when ever possible.

Nick also developed a business in designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining aquariums across Britain, which grew ever stronger as the demand in aquariums became a great hobby and fashion in today’s modern world.

The business is now a world leader in aquarium and pond design technology and continues to develop word class bespoke aquariums, designs, and installations, and sells all aspects of aquarium products and livestock around the UK.
