99 Ranch Market was established in 1984 by Mr. Roger Chen. “99 Ranch Market” embodied the meanings of good fortune and freshness. In mandarin, “99” is a homophone for “longevity and good fortune”. The company slogan, “For 100 we try harder” demonstrated Mr. Chen’s commitment to always improving to provide the best products and services to the communities he served. “Ranch Market” symbolized his promise to deliver the freshest produce, seafood and meat. As globalization continues, 99 Ranch is uniquely positioned to promote Asian food and culture through our stores. By building places where people meet to eat and shop, we offer the opportunity for everyone to explore Asian foods. By implementing new technologies, we offer online shopping, in-store pick-up, and same-day delivery services. To introduce the diversity of Asian food culture, we’ve launched modern “Eat-Up” food courts at selected new stores of 99 Ranch Market.
