Viva Oliva

Located in Santa Barbara, California, Viva Oliva was established in 2010. A family owned business, we are dedicated to sourcing and retailing the highest quality extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars and gourmet specialty foods, many of which are made by local food artisans. The extra virgin olive oils that we sell all comply with the highest quality standard in the world (Ultra Premium) and our balsamics are made in the traditional way in Modena, Italy. We source our oils from both the southern and northern hemispheres of the world, thereby ensuring we always keep the freshest products in stock.

Viva Oliva was established in 2010. A local business that strives to create a warm, inviting shopping environment with high quality products not found in typical grocery stores or supermarkets. It recently relocated from Montecito to downtown Santa Barbara, at 927 State Street.

Upon moving from New Zealand to California, Viva Oliva’s owner, Amanda, and her husband, Sven Dybdahl, immediately fell in love with Santa Barbara’s picturesque setting along the coast. Being in a place that has such reverence for wholesome, gourmet food, they acquired Viva Oliva from its original owner in 2016 and set out to expand its selection of fine oils and foods.
