Stunning contemporary jewellery designed and handcrafted in our Glenarm workshop. We also feature collections from fellow British and European designers at our Bedford Street store, Belfast. Diamond and CAD Design specialists, we offer a bespoke design service to create a truly unique gift. We even have a re-design service, should you wish an old piece of jewellery to be refashioned into a new contemporary design.

Established in 1976.
Steensons was established in 1976 by husband and wife team Bill and Christina Steenson after they graduated in Silversmithing from the University of Ulster. Bringing an imaginative and fresh approach to jewellery in Ireland, they put their strong contemporary designs on show and to their delight found that visitors loved them. From atmospheric landscape pieces in the seventies, bold geometrics of the eighties, minimalist nineties, to the softer organic feel of the new millennium, their work has evolved and their followers grown over the decades. Having enjoyed nearly forty years at the bench, Bill and Christina have handed over the reins to daughter Brona and son in law Dan Spencer. This young couple also met and graduated from the University of Ulster joining the family business as trainees in 2001. Their passion for strong design and enthusiasm for integrating new technologies with the traditional craft techniques sets them in good stead for carrying Steensons into the future.
