Both owners Kriss and George have been in the jewelery business for 34 years. They gained their experience working for a fine jewelery chain company in the bay area. They opened their first store in 1989 in San Jose and moved to settle and raise the family in beautiful Scotts Valley in 1997. Kriss and George work and live in this community and are very active in public service.

Business Owner
George started his career in the Jewelery business working for Granat Brothers in 1979, he managed many of their stores, and then moved on to open the first Merksamer store in the bay area. He attended work shops to refine his jewelery making skills, attended GIA courses for diamond and color stone grading. In 1989 he opened his own store in San Jose, and in 1997 moved to Scotts Valley where he now owns Scotts Valley Jewelers.
