Mekelburg’s is a craft beer/specialty food shop in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. We offer unique craft beers, house roasted meats, artisanal cheeses and many other affordable must-haves for the home cook. Growing up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, with the likes of Zabar’s, Barney Greengrass and H&H Bagels at her doorstep, great neighborhood food establishments were ingrained in Alicia’s every day life – Mekelburg’s is her bringing this tradition to her now neighborhood of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, only better because, well, beer. She and her husband Daniel also pioneered the NY underground supper club movement with NY Bite Club. For the past decade they displayed their unique and delicious tasting menus, of which they will continue to showcase at Mekelburg’s during special tasting events, but their amazing porchetta will be available daily!

Daniel, a third generation New Yorker and a self-taught cook, Daniel has been catering and underground cooking with Alicia for years, he’s also competed in Memphis in May where he discovered the Big Green Egg. By day he imports novelty closeouts, by night you’ll find him behind the bar, making you a sandwich and talking your ear off!
