We have been hand building custom surfboards on Maui since 1966. We rent surfboards , stand-up paddle boards, Mauis best snorkle gear, guitars and beach equipment. we are Ka’anapalis Kala ukulele dealer and sell Mauis ‘ best UKE’s we sell vintage instruments also and are world famous for our 1 minute ukulele lesson. Established in 1966.
Out first shop was in Lahaina in the mid 60’s, We opened the Old Cannery glass shop in the late 60’s and ran that thru the mid-eighties till the cannery was remodled into a shopping center. The shop moved to Honolua Valley 13 miles north , where our shapeing room still exist, It is Hawaii’s 1st solar powered shop off the grid. well over 10 years now’ Our retail store is located seven miles south of Honolua on Honoapiilani Hwy. in the West Maui Transportation Center between Avis-Buget and Alamo-National rent a cars Right on the Halawai Dr. corner at Ka’anapali North Beach

Shaping Surfboards since 1962 moved to Lahaina in 68 ding repair guy sander glasser and shaper took over shop 72 from McCabe and Carlson the old Plastic Fantastic glassers. Kept the shop alive thru thic and thin and now work daily renting equipment , selling Ukes, and still shapin on Fridays. I mostly surf my custom Stand-up Paddleboards these days.
