Life Smiles Dental Care is committed to keeping your smile beautiful and healthy. Our state-of-the-art practice has been serving residents of Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding areas of Paradise Valley since 2007. Doctors Paul Nielson and Tim Schmidt bring many years of experience to this office and hold their staff to the highest standards. We look forward to working with you to create amazing smiles for you and your family.

Established in 2007, we named our practice Life Smiles Dental Care to represent our focus on achieving long lasting, natural results for our patients. Dr. Nielson and Schmidt are co-owners of Life Smiles Dental Care. In 2011 we designed and built our ideal facility just west of the Tatum and Shea intersection. We relocated our office to this brand new building in April 2011. The office is built with our patients’ needs in mind. WiFi is available throughout the office, TVs for each patient, floor to ceiling views of the Phoenix preserve, and the music is customizable in each room. We offer the ability to provide most all dental treatments at our facility without the need to be frequently referred to other dental specialists. We can remove wisdom teeth, place and restore dental implants, treat periodontal (gum) disease, straighten teeth with 6 month smiles and ClearCorrect, and provide root canals.

Dr. Paul Nielson and Dr. Tim Schmidt are co-owners of Life Smiles Dental Care and have a surprising amount in common. Both graduated in three years from Brigham Young University before attending dental school in the Pacific Northwest. Both graduated with honors, receiving recognition in restorative, and implant dentistry… Dr. Nielson graduating first in his class and Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Nielson and Schmidt continue to impact the dental profession. Both are members of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and have been awarded by the Academy of General Dentistry the Mastership and Fellowship awards respectively. They each stay current by achieving approximately 4-times the required hours of continuing education.

In their personal life, Dr. Nielson and Dr. Schmidt are again similar as each is a family man with four children. Dr. Nielson’s hobbies include hiking, skiing and mountain biking. Dr. Schmidt’s hobbies include music/arts, and escaping to the mountains when possible.
