Kate's Fish

Sustainably caught FRESH fish and seafood. In most cases we bring in fish whole and fillet them as needed for our case. We bring in fish from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, our Great Lakes, Alaska and the Caribbean Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea.Our shellfish comes from New England, the Gulf Coast and Northwest Pacific USA. Because it is fresh, it is caught in season and availability varies. Most of our fish is wild, while our farmed species come from farms meeting the highest standards in the industry. We pride ourselves on the high quality of fish and seafood we sell and employ a staff knowledgeable in the same to assist our customers in selection and preparation of their choice.

Established in 2000.
Prior to being Kate’s Fish, Navillus Seafood operated 1/2 the space of today’s business. Kate started working for Navillus in 1998. In 2000 she bought the business and worked hard to meet customer needs and grow the business. As our client base grew we needed more space to bring a wider selection of fish and seafood to our customers. In 2004 Kate’s Fish doubled in size and became the largest interior stand in the West Side Market. Today we continue to grow in customers and product and work to meet today’s changing demand in Market shopping.
