We specialized in all aspects of mens clothing’s. We carry off-the-rack suiting and sportcoats, or choose to have a garment custom made for you. We stock lots of casual clothing, shoes, accessories, and gifts as well. All clothing purchased at regular prices include basic alterations free of charge.

Established in 2014.
We are run by a third generation clothier/tailor, with roots back to the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City in the 1950’s.

My grandfather moved from Poland to Kansas City in 1950 to work as a tailor at Rothschild’s. After a few years he struck out on his own with a shop in the Brookside neighborhood. Leo’s Tailor Shop thrived for nearly 50 years on the corner of 63rd and Oak. It was a hub for gentleman, politicians, and ne’er do well’s alike. He trained his son-in-law, my father, in the clothing business and helped him set up shop in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. I took over the reigns at Rick’s Kansas City after my fathers passing a few years ago and it remains our sister shop. We strive to respect the values of those who came before us through hard work, attention to detail, friendly unpretentious customer service, and fine craftsmanship not often found in modern society. Stop in for a chat, a drink, and maybe some shopping, we’re always pleased to represent our heritage with the wonderful community that surrounds us.
