Victoria Hokulani Cheneviere is a bridal and formal alteration specialist. Dressmaking tailoring, fine alterations and refashioning. Does your mom keep her 1970’s polyester gown in hopes you’ll wear it one day? Just like the TLC series, “Something Borrowed, Something New” Victoria can remake that unwearable vintage gown using the original elements to create your dream dress.
Victoria Von Sagert, Unltd started in 1994 in Kaimuki, Oahu. After apprenticing and partnering with a top Hong Kong raised seamstress Yei Mei, Victoria Hokulani learned the art of bridal. In 1995 she moved to the Big Island married, pregnant and jobless. She saw there was a puka for bridal specialist and knew that she would be the “Yei Mei” of Hilo.

Business Owner
Victoria has been sewing since the early 70’s after she learned this skill in 8th grade Home Economics. She was greatly inspired by her best friend in elementary school whose mom made all her clothes. When Laurie outgrew them the mom remade them into something else. To Victoria this was wonderous.
Her favorite pursuit, besides dancing and playing chess is refashioning and upcycling thrift shop finds. No Records Found
