SF Hound Lounge

SF Hound Lounge is an award winning dog daycare and cage free boarding facility that also offers, training, puppy care and professional grooming. The SF Hound Lounge puppy academy serves pups as young as 8 weeks old.

Established in 2001.
SF Hound Lounge was created with the help of the SFSPCA (The San Francisco Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). In 2001, the owner, Ashley Ziegler opened the legaly zoned facility using the positive reinforcement training methods taught by the SFSPCA academy. Since opening SF Hound Lounge has always had SFSPCA employees or volunteers as part of their team. Soon after opening in 2001, SF Hound Lounge expanded it’s services to include grooming and, cage-free boarding. In 2005, SF Hound Lounge opened a separate 2,000 square foot play area specifically for small dogs and now also offers puppy training and care. Most recently, in 2011, we opened the self serve bath and store, equiped with raw food, and other healthy items and toys. What’s truly most important are the hundreds of happy, content dogs SF Hound Lounge has sent home throughout the years.

With the help of the SFSPCA and accredited trainers and behaviorists SF Hound Lounge was born. Our managers, well trained team and on staff CERTIFIED trainer work hard to maintain an exceptionally safe, joyfull, clean environment for dogs. Over the years, we’ve received hundeds of positive reviews and praise.
