At Whimsy Wandering we strive to provide fun and functional apparel, jewelry, accessories, and gifts, while featuring many local woman makers. Most jewelry is made in the shop and can be adjusted to fit your needs. Apparel offerings are affordable (all under $100) and functional focusing on feeling comfortable while looking put together.

Established in 2015.
Whimsy Wandering was originally conceived as a jewelry line by Portland native Alanna. After working many years in retail management Alanna decided to take the leap and run her own business. After a year of developing and conceptualizing what Whimsy Wandering would look like as a store front, the perfect space became available. Located in the historic Ford Building, Whimsy Wandering focuses on local makers, and affordable style. It has since expanded from jewelry to an in house apparel line, gifts and so much more.

Hello! I’m Alanna and I grew up in Portland and have always loved fashion and all things whimsical. The name Whimsy Wandering came to me while hiking in the gorge, and then it became a brand and eventually a store. I get to live the dream every day of making product, getting to know my community, and meeting amazing people here on vacation. On any given day I’ll be making something in the shop, wether it be jewelry, clothing, cards, or whatever else I dream up.
