Western Market

We are an independent grocer serving the Ferndale and North Detroit community since 1983. We focus on quality, freshness and local items. Our full service meat counter includes local and natural selections from farms in Michigan’s thumb. Our produce is hand selected daily from local farmers in Eastern Market. Our award winning wine set offers some of the most unique and natural wines available in the state. We have grab-and-go lunch items prepared fresh everyday, a salad bar, seven daily soups, freshly baked breads and sweets, and incredible local grocery items.

In 1983 the Selvaggio brothers established Western Market on the west edge of downtown Ferndale.
