Dr. Shern graduatied from the Univerisity of Idaho with a BS in Zoology. He then attended Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis. After dental school he entered the US Army – completing a one year general practice residency at Ft. Sill Oklahoma. He then was stationed in Germany for three years. Dr. Shern has been practicing in the Spokane area for 15 years. He is an active participating member in the American Dental Assoc, the Academy of General Dentistry (where he has attained fellowship status), the Spokane District Dental Society and is involved in various post graduate study clubs in the area
