Charlie Durel & Barbara Martin-Durel started in the car business in Redding in the early 70’s. Charlie did all the buying & oversaw the reconditioning process for the Used Vehicle inventories for the entire Cypress Auto Center (now Lithia Chev, Lithia Toyota, and Crown Nissan) for over 25 years. Barbara’s focus was administrative. In 1999 they teamed up to provide the Redding community with a place to buy quality vehicles without the usual high pressure tactics and hassles they had witnessed far too often over the years.

Charlie Durel has been part of the Redding community since 1970. He was the Used Car Manager for all of Cypress Auto Center (now Lithia Chevrolet, Lithia Toyota, & Crown Nissan) for over 25 years. In 1999 he and business partner, Barbara Martin-Durel, launched Valley Auto Wholesale.
