Established in 1944.
Over 70 years ago, Cloyd Garwood opened a full-service jewelry store across the street from our current location. In the early 1950s, we moved to our current location, where we have specialized in unique, quality jewelry and exceptional service ever since. When Mr. Garwood retired in 1966, his longtime employee, Earl Reider, purchased the store and continued to operate it under the same name. Earl’s son, Randy, began working full time in the early 1970s. Randy and his wife, Debra, purchased the store from his father in 1993, when Earl retired. The family tradition continues as Brad, Randy’s son, works alongside his father at the jeweler’s bench, creating custom pieces and repairing jewelry. As one of the oldest continuously operated businesses in Fort Collins, we have been honored to serve this community with dedication, honesty and integrity and will continue to do so for years to come.

Randy and his wife, Debra, have owned Garwood’s since 1993, purchasing it from his father, Earl, who had owned it since 1966. Randy has over 40 years experience at the jeweler’s bench and is known for his excellent workmanship, integrity, and imaginative designs. His strict commitment to quality sets him apart. An American Gem Society Registered Jeweler and a Gemological Institute of America Certified Gemologist, his many years of education and experience are integral to our customers’ experiences.
