Who Are the Brothers of Bargains? The Brothers of Bargains–also known as Andrew and Doug MacIver–are the head and the heart here at Ride Time. As third generation car dealers, Andrew and Doug have a head-to-toe (or bumper-to-bumper) understanding of how important it is for you to have a vehicle you can proudly call your own.

In April 2007, Doug MacIver Sr., the dealer principal, opened the first CanadaWide Vehicle Finance LTD on a small lot that he shared with another dealership. Doug had a vision for a nationwide chain of used car dealerships where customers were treated equally and fair, no matter what their current credit situation may be. The plan really took off, and it wasn’t long before the staff and customer base outgrew the small dealership and the shared lot. Doug MacIver Sr, passed away in 2012 leaving the company to his 2 boys, Andrew and Doug Jr. The boys rebranded the company to Ride Time to match their website URL and have since grown into a nationally recognized brand and literally have sold vehicles all over the world. In June 2016, Ride Time completed construction on their new state-of-the-art facility. Andrew and Doug are lovingly known as the “Brothers Of Bargains” and they are the focus of the Amazon Prime reality TV show called “Bargain Brothers”.
