Wake up to the best of the season’s harvest every Saturday morning, when the Crescent City Farmers Market takes up residence in New Orleans’ historic Warehouse District! That’s where you’ll find the best in fresh, locally grown produce, seafood, baked goods and much more. Come for the food, and stick around for great entertainment by local musicians, cooking demonstrations, or just to shoot the breeze with friends and the farmers, chefs, and fishers who put food on the city’s tables. The Saturday Market runs year-round from 8 am to 12 noon at the corner of Carondelet Street and Julia Street.
CCFM began in New Orleans in 1995 as a producer-only farmers market connecting customers directly with farmers, fishermen, ranchers, dairies, bakers and food makers from within 200 miles, and now we’re operating seven weekly markets in the New Orleans area, most of which are year-round, and all of which are rain or shine. Join us Tuesdays Uptown at Uptown Square, Wednesdays in the Bywater at the Rusty Rainbow Bridge and also the Ochsner Rehabilitation Center in Jefferson, Thursdays in Mid-City on Orleans Avenue at the American Can Company, Fridays in Bucktown at the Harbor, and Saturdays Downtown and Kenner’s historic Rivertown. You’ll find a wonderful array of locally grown produce, fresh bread and baked goods, cut flowers, wild-caught Louisiana seafood, fresh dairy, pasture-raised meat, handcrafted meals, and much more. The Crescent City Farmers Market is building a stronger community by promoting good health, social exchange, and fair trade for our family of producers and consumers!
